Chapter 1

1:1In the eighth month, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to Zechariah son of Berechiah, son of Iddo the prophet, saying,
1:2“The LORD was very angry with your fathers.
1:3Therefore say to them, Thus says the LORD of Hosts: ‘Return to Me,’ declares the LORD of Hosts, ‘and I will return to you,’ says the LORD of Hosts.
1:4Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets called, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD of Hosts: Turn now from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.’ But they did not hear or pay attention to Me, declares the LORD.
1:5Your fathers—where are they? And the prophets—do they live forever?
1:6But My words and My statutes, which I commanded My servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? Then they returned and said, ‘As the LORD of Hosts purposed to do to us, according to our ways and according to our deeds, so He has done to us.’”
1:7On the twenty-fourth day of the eleventh month, which is the month of Shebat, in the second year of Darius, the word of the LORD came to Zechariah son of Berechiah, son of Iddo the prophet, saying:
1:8I saw in the night, and behold, a man riding upon a red horse; and he stood among the myrtle trees in the ravine, and behind him were horses—red, sorrel, and white.
1:9And I said, “What are these, my lord?” And the angel who spoke with me said, “I will show you what these are.”
1:10And the man who stood among the myrtle trees answered, “These are they whom the LORD has sent to walk to and fro through the land.”
1:11And they answered the Angel of the LORD who stood among the myrtle trees, saying, “We have walked to and fro through the earth, and behold, all the earth is still and at rest.”
1:12Then the Angel of the LORD answered, “O LORD of Hosts, how long will You withhold compassion from Jerusalem and the cities of Judah, against which You have been indignant these seventy years?”
1:13And the LORD answered the angel who spoke with me with gracious words, comforting words.
1:14And the angel who spoke with me said, “Proclaim, saying, Thus says the LORD of Hosts: ‘I have been zealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with great zeal.
1:15And with great wrath I am angry against the nations that are at ease; for I was only a little angry, but they furthered the calamity.’
1:16Therefore, thus says the LORD: ‘I have returned to Jerusalem with compassion. My house will be built within her,’ declares the LORD of Hosts, ‘and a measuring line will be stretched over Jerusalem.’
1:17Call out again, saying, Thus says the LORD of Hosts: ‘My cities will again overflow with good; and the LORD will again comfort Zion and again choose Jerusalem.’”

Chapter 2

2:1And I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, four horns.
2:2And I said to the angel who spoke with me, “What are these?” And he said to me, “These are the horns that scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.”
2:3And the LORD showed me four craftsmen.
2:4And I said, “What are these coming to do?” And He said, “These are the horns that scattered Judah, so that no one lifted up his head; and these craftsmen have come to terrify them, to cast down the horns of the nations that raised a horn against the land of Judah to scatter it.”
2:5And I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, a man with a measuring line in his hand.
2:6And I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to see what its breadth and length will be.”
2:7And behold, the angel who spoke with me went out, and another angel went out to meet him.
2:8And he said to him, “Run, speak to this young man, saying, ‘Jerusalem will be inhabited like open country because of the abundance of people and livestock in her midst.
2:9And I will be to her,’ declares the LORD, ‘a wall of fire all around, and I will be the glory in her midst.
2:10Ho! Ho! Flee from the land of the north,’ declares the LORD, ‘for I have scattered you to the four winds of the heavens,’ declares the LORD.
2:11Ho, Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babylon.
2:12For thus says the LORD of Hosts: ‘After glory He sent Me to the nations that plunder you; for he who touches you touches the pupil of His eye.
2:13For behold, I will wave My hand over them, and they will become spoil to their own servants. Then you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent Me.
2:14Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion; for behold, I am coming, and I will dwell in your midst,’ declares the LORD.
2:15And many nations will join themselves to the LORD in that day, and they will become My people; and I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent Me to you.
2:16And the LORD will inherit Judah as His portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.
2:17Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD, for He has roused Himself from His holy habitation.”

Chapter 3

3:1And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the Angel of the LORD, and the Accuser standing at his right hand to accuse him.
3:2And the LORD said to the Accuser, “The LORD rebuke you, O Accuser; indeed, the LORD who chooses Jerusalem rebuke you. Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?”
3:3Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and stood before the Angel.
3:4And He answered and spoke to those standing before Him, saying, “Remove the filthy garments from him.” And He said to him, “See, I have caused your iniquity to pass away from you, and I will clothe you with rich garments.”
3:5And I said, “Let them set a clean turban upon his head.” And they set the clean turban upon his head and clothed him with garments, while the Angel of the LORD stood by.
3:6And the Angel of the LORD solemnly charged Joshua, saying,
3:7“Thus says the LORD of Hosts: If you walk in My ways and keep My charge, then you also will judge My house and keep My courts; and I will give you access among these who stand by.
3:8Hear now, O Joshua the high priest, you and your companions who sit before you—for they are men who serve as a sign—for behold, I am bringing forth My servant, the Branch.
3:9For behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua: upon one stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave its inscription, declares the LORD of Hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.
3:10In that day,” declares the LORD of Hosts, “each of you will invite his neighbor to sit under the vine and under the fig tree.”

Chapter 4

4:1And the angel who spoke with me returned and woke me, as a man is awakened from his sleep.
4:2And he said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I have looked, and behold, a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl upon its top, and seven lamps upon it, with seven pipes for each of the lamps upon its top;
4:3and two olive trees beside it, one on the right of the bowl and one on its left.”
4:4And I answered and said to the angel who spoke with me, “What are these, my lord?”
4:5And the angel who spoke with me answered, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”
4:6And he answered me, saying, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the LORD of Hosts.
4:7Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain. And he will bring forth the capstone with cries of, ‘Grace, grace to it!’”
4:8And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
4:9“The hands of Zerubbabel founded this house, and his hands will finish it; and you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent me to you.
4:10For who has despised the day of small things? They will rejoice when they see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel. These seven are the eyes of the LORD, which go to and fro through all the land.”
4:11And I answered and said to him, “What are these two olive trees on the right of the lampstand and on its left?”
4:12And I answered a second time and said to him, “What are the two olive branches that, through the two golden pipes, pour out the golden oil?”
4:13And he said to me, “Do you not know what these are?” And I said, “No, my lord.”
4:14And he said, “These are the two anointed ones who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth.”

Chapter 5

5:1And I again lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, a flying scroll.
5:2And he said to me, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits, and its width ten cubits.”
5:3And he said to me, “This is the curse that goes forth over the face of all the land; for everyone who steals will be swept away according to what is written on one side, and everyone who swears falsely will be swept away according to what is written on the other.
5:4I have brought it forth,” declares the LORD of Hosts, “and it will enter the house of the thief and the house of him who swears falsely by My Name; and it will remain in the midst of his house and consume it, both its timber and its stones.”
5:5And the angel who spoke with me went forth and said to me, “Now lift up your eyes and see what this is that goes forth.”
5:6And I said, “What is it?” And he said, “This is the ephah basket that is going forth.” And he said, “This is their appearance throughout all the land.
5:7And behold, a round lid of lead was lifted up; and there was a woman sitting within the ephah basket.”
5:8And he said, “This is Wickedness.” And he thrust her down into the midst of the ephah basket and cast the weight of lead upon its mouth.
5:9And I lifted up my eyes and saw, and behold, two women were coming forth, and the wind was in their wings; and they had wings like the wings of a stork, and they lifted up the ephah basket between the earth and the heavens.
5:10And I said to the angel who spoke with me, “Where are they carrying the ephah basket?”
5:11And he said to me, “To build a house for it in the land of Shinar; and when it is ready, it will be set there upon its base.”

Chapter 6

6:1And I turned and lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, four chariots were coming forth from between two mountains, and the mountains were mountains of bronze.
6:2In the first chariot were red horses, and in the second chariot black horses,
6:3and in the third chariot white horses, and in the fourth chariot strong, dappled horses.
6:4And I answered and said to the angel who spoke with me, “What are these, my lord?”
6:5And the angel answered me, “These are the four spirits of the heavens, coming forth after presenting themselves before the Lord of the whole earth.
6:6The black horses go forth toward the land of the north, and the white go forth after them, and the dappled go forth toward the land of the south.”
6:7And the strong horses went forth and sought to go, to walk to and fro through the earth. And he said, “Go, walk to and fro through the earth.” And they walked to and fro through the earth.
6:8And he called to me, saying, “See, those going forth toward the land of the north have given rest to My Spirit in the land of the north.”
6:9And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
6:10“Take the contribution from the exiles who came from Babylon—from Heldai, Tobijah, and Jedaiah—and go that same day into the house of Josiah son of Zephaniah.
6:11Take silver and gold, make a crown, and place it upon the head of Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest.
6:12And speak to him, saying, Thus says the LORD of Hosts: ‘Behold the Man whose Name is the Branch. From His place He will branch forth, and He will build the temple of the LORD.
6:13Indeed, He will build the temple of the LORD; and He will bear splendor, and will sit and rule upon His throne. He will be a priest upon His throne, and a counsel of peace will be between them both.’
6:14And the crown will be for Helem, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and Hen son of Zephaniah, as a memorial in the temple of the LORD.
6:15And those who are far off will come and build in the temple of the LORD; and you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent me to you. And this will come to pass if you diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God.”

Chapter 7

7:1And it came to pass in the fourth year of King Darius that the word of the LORD came to Zechariah on the fourth day of the ninth month, in Kislev.
7:2And Bethel sent Sharezer, Regem-Melech, and his men to seek the favor of the LORD,
7:3speaking to the priests who were at the house of the LORD of Hosts and to the prophets, saying, “Should I weep in the fifth month and abstain, as I have done these many years?”
7:4And the word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying,
7:5“Speak to all the people of the land and to the priests, saying,
7:6‘When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months throughout these seventy years, was it truly for Me that you fasted? And when you eat and drink, do you not eat for yourselves and drink for yourselves?
7:7Are these not the words that the LORD proclaimed by the former prophets when Jerusalem was inhabited and at ease, with her cities around her, and the Negev and the lowland inhabited?’”
7:8And the word of the LORD came to Zechariah, saying,
7:9“Thus says the LORD of Hosts: ‘Administer true justice, and show kindness and compassion, each man to his brother.
7:10Do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the sojourner or the poor; and do not devise evil against one another in your heart.’
7:11But they refused to heed; they turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears from hearing.
7:12And they made their hearts as hard as flint, lest they hear the Law and the words that the LORD of Hosts sent by His Spirit through the former prophets; therefore great wrath came from the LORD of Hosts.
7:13And it came to pass, as He called and they would not hear, so they called and I would not hear,” says the LORD of Hosts.
7:14“And I scattered them among all the nations they had not known; and the land was desolate behind them, with none passing through or returning; and they made the desirable land a desolation.”

Chapter 8

8:1And the word of the LORD of Hosts came, saying,
8:2“Thus says the LORD of Hosts: I have been zealous for Zion with great zeal; with great wrath I have been zealous for her.
8:3Thus says the LORD: I have returned to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and Jerusalem will be called the City of Truth, and the mountain of the LORD of Hosts, the Holy Mountain.
8:4Thus says the LORD of Hosts: Old men and old women will again dwell in the squares of Jerusalem, each with his staff in his hand because of great age.
8:5And the squares of the city will be full of boys and girls playing in its streets.
8:6Thus says the LORD of Hosts: If it seems marvelous in the eyes of the remnant of this people in those days, will it also seem marvelous in My eyes?—declares the LORD of Hosts.
8:7Thus says the LORD of Hosts: Behold, I am saving My people from the land of the rising sun and from the land of the setting sun.
8:8And I will bring them in, and they will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.
8:9Thus says the LORD of Hosts: Let your hands be strong, you who in these days hear these words from the mouths of the prophets who were present when the foundation of the house of the LORD of Hosts was laid, that the temple might be built.
8:10For before those days there were no wages for man, nor any wages for beast, and there was no peace for him who went out or came in because of the adversary; for I set every man against his neighbor.
8:11But now I will not be to the remnant of this people as in the former days, declares the LORD of Hosts.
8:12For there will be a sowing of peace: the vine will give her fruit, the earth will give her increase, and the heavens will give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to inherit all these things.
8:13And it will come to pass, as you have been a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you will become a blessing. Do not fear; let your hands be strong.
8:14For thus says the LORD of Hosts: As I purposed to bring calamity upon you when your fathers made Me angry, says the LORD of Hosts, and I did not relent,
8:15so I have again purposed in these days to do good to Jerusalem and to the house of Judah. Do not fear.
8:16These are the things you shall do: speak truth, each man with his neighbor; render true and peaceful judgments in your gates.
8:17Do not devise evil against your neighbor in your heart, and do not love a false oath; for all these are things that I hate, declares the LORD.”
8:18And the word of the LORD of Hosts came to me, saying,
8:19“Thus says the LORD of Hosts: The fast of the fourth month, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth will become times of joy and gladness for the house of Judah, and joyful appointed feasts. Therefore love truth and peace.
8:20Thus says the LORD of Hosts: Peoples will yet come, and the inhabitants of many cities.
8:21And the inhabitants of one city will go to another, saying, ‘Let us go at once to seek the favor of the LORD and to seek the LORD of Hosts; I will go also.’
8:22And many peoples and mighty nations will come to seek the LORD of Hosts in Jerusalem and to seek the favor of the LORD.
8:23Thus says the LORD of Hosts: In those days ten men from all the languages of the nations will take hold—indeed, will take hold of the hem of a Jewish man’s garment, saying, ‘We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”

Chapter 9

9:1The burden of the word of the LORD against the land of Hadrach, with Damascus as its resting place—for the eyes of mankind and of all the tribes of Israel are toward the LORD—
9:2and Hamath also borders upon it, as do Tyre and Sidon, though they are very wise.
9:3And Tyre built herself a fortress and heaped up silver like dust and gold like the mire of the streets.
9:4Behold, the Lord will dispossess her and cast her wealth into the sea; and she will be consumed with fire.
9:5Ashkelon will see and fear; Gaza also, and she will be greatly pained; and Ekron, for her hope has been put to shame. A king will perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon will not be inhabited.
9:6“And a foreigner will dwell in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines.
9:7And I will remove the blood from his mouth and his abominations from between his teeth; and he too will be a remnant for our God, and will be like a leader in Judah, and Ekron like a Jebusite.
9:8And I will encamp around My house as a guard against any who pass through or return; and an oppressor will no longer pass through against them, for now I have seen with My eyes.
9:9Rejoice exceedingly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem. Behold, your King comes to you, righteous and having salvation, humble and riding upon a donkey—even upon a colt, the foal of a female donkey.
9:10And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem; and the bow of battle will be cut off. And He will speak peace to the nations; and His rule will be from sea to sea, and from the Euphrates to the ends of the earth.
9:11As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant I have released your prisoners from the pit in which there is no water.
9:12Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you.
9:13For I have bent Judah for Myself; I have filled the bow with Ephraim. And I will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and set you like the sword of a mighty man.”
9:14And the LORD will appear over them, and His arrow will go forth like lightning; and Lord, the LORD, will blow the horn and go forth in the whirlwinds of the south.
9:15The LORD of Hosts will cover them; and they will consume and trample the sling-stones. They will drink and roar as with wine, and will be full like a bowl, like the corners of the altar.
9:16And the LORD their God will save them in that day as the flock of His people; for they will be like stones of a crown, glittering over His land.
9:17For how great is His goodness, and how great His beauty! Grain will make the young men flourish, and new wine the virgins.

Chapter 10

10:1Ask rain from the LORD in the time of spring rain. The LORD makes the lightning, and He gives showers of rain, to each man vegetation in the field.
10:2For the household idols speak deceit, and the diviners see falsehood; they speak empty dreams and give vain comfort. Therefore the people wander like a flock; they are afflicted because there is no shepherd.
10:3“My anger burns against the shepherds, and I will punish the male goats; for the LORD of Hosts has taken notice of His flock, the house of Judah, and made them like His splendid horse in battle.
10:4From him comes the cornerstone, from him the tent peg, from him the battle-bow; from him every ruler goes forth together.
10:5And they will be like mighty men, treading the mire of the streets in battle; and they will fight, for the LORD is with them, and the riders of horses will be put to shame.
10:6And I will make the house of Judah mighty and save the house of Joseph; and I will bring them back, for I have compassion on them. They will be as though I had not cast them off, for I am the LORD their God, and I will answer them.
10:7And Ephraim will be like a mighty man, and their heart will rejoice as with wine; and their children will see and rejoice; their heart will rejoice in the LORD.
10:8I will whistle for them and gather them, for I have redeemed them; and they will multiply as they multiplied before.
10:9And I will sow them among the peoples; and in far places they will remember Me, and they will live with their children and return.
10:10And I will bring them back from the land of Egypt and gather them from Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon, until no room is found for them.
10:11And He will pass through the sea of distress and strike the waves in the sea; and all the depths of the Nile will be dried up. The pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt will turn aside.
10:12And I will make them mighty in the LORD, and in His Name they will walk,” declares the LORD.

Chapter 11

11:1Open your doors, O Lebanon, that fire may devour your cedars.
11:2Wail, O cypress, for the cedar has fallen, for the majestic trees are destroyed. Wail, you oaks of Bashan, for the dense forest has come down.
11:3The sound of the shepherds’ wailing, for their splendor is destroyed; the sound of young lions roaring, for the thickets of the Jordan are destroyed.
11:4Thus says the LORD my God: “Feed the flock destined for slaughter,
11:5whose buyers kill them and are not held guilty, and whose sellers say, ‘Blessed is the LORD, for I am rich’; and their shepherds have no pity upon them.
11:6For I will no longer pity the inhabitants of the land,” declares the LORD, “and behold, I will hand each man over to his neighbor and to his king; and they will strike the land, and I will not deliver them out of their hand.”
11:7So I fed the flock destined for slaughter, the afflicted of the flock. And I took for myself two staffs; one I called Favor, and the other I called Union; and I fed the flock.
11:8And I cut off the three shepherds in one month; and my soul grew impatient with them, and they also abhorred me.
11:9And I said, “I will not feed you. Let the dying one die, and the one being destroyed be destroyed; and let those who remain devour one another’s flesh.”
11:10And I took my staff Favor and broke it, to break my covenant that I had made with all the peoples.
11:11And it was broken in that day; and the afflicted of the flock who watched me knew that it was the word of the LORD.
11:12And I said to them, “If it seems good to you, give me my wages; and if not, refrain.” And they weighed out my wages—thirty pieces of silver.
11:13And the LORD said to me, “Cast it to the potter”—the magnificent price at which they valued Me! And I took the thirty pieces of silver and cast them into the house of the LORD, to the potter.
11:14And I broke my second staff, Union, to break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.
11:15And the LORD said to me, “Again take for yourself the implements of a foolish shepherd.
11:16For behold, I am raising up a shepherd in the land who will not attend to the perishing, nor seek the scattered, nor heal the broken, nor feed the healthy; but he will eat the flesh of the fat and tear off their hooves.
11:17Woe to the worthless shepherd who forsakes the flock! A sword is upon his arm and upon his right eye. His arm will utterly wither, and his right eye will grow very dim.”

Chapter 12

12:1The burden of the word of the LORD concerning Israel—declares the LORD, who stretches out the heavens, founds the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him:
12:2“Behold, I am making Jerusalem a cup of reeling to all the surrounding peoples; and Judah also will be caught in the siege against Jerusalem.
12:3And it will come to pass in that day that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone to all the peoples. All who lift it will be grievously wounded; and all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.
12:4In that day,” declares the LORD, “I will strike every horse with bewilderment and its rider with madness; and I will open My eyes upon the house of Judah, and strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.
12:5And the leaders of Judah will say in their hearts, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in the LORD of Hosts their God.’
12:6In that day I will make the leaders of Judah like a firepot among wood and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they will consume all the surrounding peoples on the right and on the left. And Jerusalem will again dwell in her own place, in Jerusalem.
12:7And the LORD will save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem may not be exalted over Judah.
12:8In that day the LORD will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and the one who stumbles among them in that day will be like David, and the house of David like God, like the Angel of the LORD before them.
12:9And it will come to pass in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
12:10And I will pour upon the house of David and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem the Spirit of grace and supplications; and they will look to Me whom they pierced, and mourn over Him as one mourns over an only son, and be in bitterness for Him as one is in bitterness over the firstborn.
12:11In that day the mourning in Jerusalem will be great, like the mourning of Hadad-Rimmon in the Valley of Megiddo.
12:12And the land will mourn, every family apart: the family of the house of David apart, and their women apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their women apart;
12:13the family of the house of Levi apart, and their women apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their women apart;
12:14all the families that remain, every family apart, and their women apart.”

Chapter 13

13:1“In that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for impurity.
13:2And it will come to pass in that day,” declares the LORD of Hosts, “that I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, and they will no longer be remembered; and I will also cause the prophets and the unclean spirit to pass away from the land.
13:3And it will be, when anyone prophesies again, that his father and mother, who bore him, will say to him, ‘You shall not live, for you have spoken falsehood in the Name of the LORD’; and his father and mother, who bore him, will pierce him through when he prophesies.
13:4And it will come to pass in that day that each prophet will be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies; and they will not put on a hairy mantle to deceive.
13:5But one will say, ‘I am not a prophet; I am a man who works the ground, for a man sold me in my youth.’
13:6And one will say to him, ‘What are these wounds between your hands?’ And he will say, ‘Those with which I was struck in the house of my lovers.’”
13:7“Sword, awake against My Shepherd, and against the Man who is My Companion,” declares the LORD of Hosts. “Strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; and I will turn My hand upon the little ones.
13:8And it will come to pass in all the land,” declares the LORD, “that two parts in it will be cut off and die, but the third will be left in it.
13:9And I will bring the third through fire, and refine them as silver is refined, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on My Name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are My people,’ and they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’”

Chapter 14

14:1Behold, a day of the LORD is coming, and your spoil will be divided in your midst.
14:2And I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem for battle; and the city will be captured, and the houses plundered, and the women violated. Half the city will go forth into exile, but the remnant of the people will not be cut off from the city.
14:3And the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as He fights on a day of battle.
14:4And His feet will stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split through its midst toward the east and toward the west, making a very great valley. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and half toward the south.
14:5And you will flee to the valley of My mountains, for the valley of the mountains will reach to Azal; and you will flee as you fled before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with You.
14:6And it will come to pass in that day that there will be no light; the luminaries will grow dim.
14:7And there will be one day, known to the LORD—neither day nor night—but at evening time there will be light.
14:8And it will come to pass in that day that living waters will go forth from Jerusalem, half of them toward the Eastern Sea and half of them toward the Western Sea; it will be in summer and in winter.
14:9And the LORD will become King over all the earth. In that day the LORD will be one, and His Name one.
14:10All the land will be turned into a plain, from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but she will be raised and dwell in her place, from the Gate of Benjamin to the place of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananeel to the king’s winepresses.
14:11And they will dwell in her, and there will be no more destruction; and Jerusalem will dwell securely.
14:12And this will be the plague with which the LORD will plague all the peoples who warred against Jerusalem: their flesh will waste away while they stand on their feet, their eyes will waste away in their sockets, and their tongue will waste away in their mouth.
14:13And it will come to pass in that day that a great confusion from the LORD will be among them; and each man will seize his neighbor’s hand, and each will raise his hand against the other.
14:14And Judah also will fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the surrounding nations will be gathered—gold, silver, and apparel in great abundance.
14:15And such will be the plague upon the horse, the mule, the camel, the donkey, and all the livestock in those camps, like this plague.
14:16And it will come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to bow down to the King, the LORD of Hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths.
14:17And it will come to pass that upon any of the families of the earth that does not go up to Jerusalem to bow down to the King, the LORD of Hosts, there will be no rain.
14:18And if the family of Egypt does not go up and come, then upon them will be the plague with which the LORD plagues the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths.
14:19This will be the penalty of Egypt and the penalty of all the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Booths.
14:20In that day “Holy to the LORD” will be engraved upon the bells of the horses; and the pots in the house of the LORD will be like the bowls before the altar.
14:21And every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah will be holy to the LORD of Hosts; and all who sacrifice will come and take from them and boil in them. And in that day there will no longer be a merchant in the house of the LORD of Hosts.
