Chapter 1

1:1A revelation of Jesus the Anointed One, which God gave Him to show His slaves the things that must soon come to pass; and He signified it, sending it through His angel to His slave John,
1:2who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus the Anointed One—to all that he saw.
1:3Blessed is he who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy and keep the things written in it, for the time is near.
1:4John, to the seven assemblies in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is, and who was, and who is coming; and from the Seven Spirits who are before His throne;
1:5and from Jesus the Anointed One, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and released us from our sins by His blood,
1:6and made us kings and priests to His God and Father—to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. So be it.
1:7Behold, He comes with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the land will wail because of Him. Yes. So be it.
1:8“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is, and who was, and who is coming—the Almighty.”
1:9I, John, your brother and fellow-partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and endurance in Jesus the Anointed One, was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and because of the testimony of Jesus the Anointed One.
1:10I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a great voice, like a trumpet, saying,
1:11“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last”; and, “Write what you see in a scroll, and send it to the seven assemblies in Asia: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamum, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”
1:12And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me; and having turned, I saw seven golden lampstands,
1:13and in the midst of the seven lampstands, One like a son of man, clothed with a garment reaching to His feet and wrapped around His chest with a golden sash.
1:14His head and His hair were white, like white wool, like snow; and His eyes were like a flame of fire.
1:15His feet were like burnished bronze, as though refined in a furnace; and His voice was like the sound of many waters.
1:16He had seven stars in His right hand; out of His mouth proceeded a sharp two-edged sword, and His face was like the sun shining in its strength.
1:17And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. And He laid His right hand upon me, saying, “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last,
1:18and the Living One. I was dead, and behold, I am alive forever and ever. So be it. And I have the keys of the realm of the dead and of death.
1:19Write the things you have seen, and the things that are, and the things that are about to come after these things.
1:20The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven assemblies, and the seven lampstands you saw are seven assemblies.”

Chapter 2

2:1“To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write: These things says He who holds the seven stars in His right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lampstands:
2:2I know your works, and your labor, and your endurance; and that you cannot bear evil men, and have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars.
2:3And you have borne and endured, and have labored for the sake of My Name, and have not grown weary.
2:4But I have this against you: you have left your first love.
2:5Remember, then, from where you have fallen; repent, and do the first works. But if not, I will come to you quickly and remove your lampstand from its place—unless you repent.
2:6Yet this you have: you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
2:7He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, I will give to eat of the Tree of Life that is in the midst of the paradise of God.
2:8And to the angel of the assembly in Smyrna write: These things says the First and the Last, who was dead and came to life:
2:9I know your works, and tribulation, and poverty—yet you are rich—and the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
2:10Do not be afraid of the things you are about to suffer. Behold, the Devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the garland of life.
2:11He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who overcomes shall not be harmed by the second death.
2:12And to the angel of the assembly in Pergamum write: These things says He who has the sharp two-edged sword:
2:13I know your works, and where you dwell—where the throne of Satan is. And you hold fast My Name, and did not deny My faith, even in the days when Antipas was My faithful witness, who was put to death among you, where Satan dwells.
2:14But I have a few things against you: you have there those who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling-block before the sons of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality.
2:15Likewise, you also have those who hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans—which I hate.
2:16Repent. But if not, I will come to you quickly and fight against them with the sword of My mouth.
2:17He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, I will give to eat from the hidden manna; and I will give him a white stone, and upon the stone a new name written, which no one knows except him who receives it.
2:18And to the angel of the assembly in Thyatira write: These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire and feet like burnished bronze:
2:19I know your works, and love, and service, and faith, and your endurance, and your works—and the last are more than the first.
2:20But I have a few things against you: you allow the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and lead My slaves astray, to commit sexual immorality and to eat things sacrificed to idols.
2:21And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, but she did not repent.
2:22Behold, I will cast her upon a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works.
2:23And I will kill her children with death; and all the assemblies shall know that I am He who searches minds and hearts, and I will give to each of you according to your works.
2:24But to you I say, and to the rest who are in Thyatira—as many as do not have this teaching, and who did not know the depths of Satan, as they say—I will put no other burden upon you.
2:25Only hold fast what you have until I come.
2:26And he who overcomes and keeps My works to the end, to him I will give authority over the nations.
2:27And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; they shall be shattered like vessels of a potter—as I also have received from My Father.
2:28And I will give him the morning star.
2:29He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.”

Chapter 3

3:1“And to the angel of the assembly in Sardis write: These things says He who has the Seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: I know your works, and that you have a name that you are alive, yet you are dead.
3:2Be watchful, and strengthen the things that remain, which are about to die; for I have not found your works complete before God.
3:3Remember, then, how you have received and heard; keep it, and repent. Therefore, if you do not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come upon you.
3:4Yet you have a few names even in Sardis who did not defile their garments, and they shall walk with Me in white, because they are worthy.
3:5He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments; and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life, but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
3:6He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.
3:7And to the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia write: These things says the Holy One, the True One, who has the key of David, who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens:
3:8I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut; for you have little strength, and yet have kept My word and have not denied My Name.
3:9Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan—those who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow before your feet, and know that I have loved you.
3:10Because you kept the word of My endurance, I also will keep you from the hour of trial that is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell upon the earth.
3:11Behold, I come quickly. Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your garland.
3:12He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall never go out again. And I will write upon him the Name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of Heaven from My God—and My new Name.
3:13He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.
3:14And to the angel of the assembly of the Laodiceans write: These things says the So Be It, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of the creation of God:
3:15I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot.
3:16So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to vomit you out of My mouth.
3:17For you say, ‘I am rich, and have grown rich, and have need of nothing’; and you do not know that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked.
3:18I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined by fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed and the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and eye-salve to anoint your eyes, that you may see.
3:19As many as I love, I rebuke and discipline. Therefore be zealous and repent.
3:20Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
3:21He who overcomes, I will give him to sit with Me upon My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father upon His throne.
3:22He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.”

Chapter 4

4:1After these things I saw, and behold, a door opened in Heaven, and the first voice I heard, like a trumpet speaking with me, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must come to pass after these things.”
4:2And immediately I was in the Spirit; and behold, a throne was set in Heaven, and One was sitting on the throne,
4:3and He who was sitting was in appearance like a jasper stone and a sardius stone; and a rainbow was around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.
4:4And around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white garments, and on their heads were golden garlands.
4:5And out of the throne came flashes of lightning, thunder, and voices. And seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the Seven Spirits of God.
4:6And before the throne was a sea of glass, like crystal; and in the midst of the throne, and around the throne, were four living creatures, full of eyes before and behind.
4:7And the first living creature was like a lion, and the second living creature like a calf, and the third living creature had a human face, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.
4:8And the four living creatures, each one of them, had six wings; around and within they were full of eyes. And they have no rest day and night, saying, “Holy, holy, holy, the Lord God, the Almighty, who was, and who is, and who is coming!”
4:9And whenever the living creatures give glory, and honor, and thanksgiving to the One sitting on the throne, the One living forever and ever,
4:10the twenty-four elders fall down before the One sitting on the throne, and worship the One living forever and ever, and cast their garlands before the throne, saying,
4:11“Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the glory, and the honor, and the power, because You created all things, and because of Your will they existed and were created.”

Chapter 5

5:1And I saw a scroll in the right hand of Him who was sitting on the throne, written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
5:2And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a great voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?”
5:3And no one in Heaven, nor on the earth, nor under the earth, was able to open the scroll, nor to look upon it.
5:4And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and read the scroll, nor to look upon it.
5:5And one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals.”
5:6And I saw, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing as though slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the Seven Spirits of God sent into all the earth.
5:7And He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who was sitting on the throne.
5:8And when He took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, each one having harps and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the holy ones.
5:9And they sing a new song, saying, “Worthy are You to take the scroll and to open its seals, because You were slain, and You purchased us for God by Your blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,
5:10and made us kings and priests to our God; and we will reign on the earth.”
5:11And I saw, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and the living creatures, and the elders—and their number was tens of thousands upon tens of thousands, and thousands upon thousands—
5:12saying with a great voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive the power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing!”
5:13And every creature that is in Heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and those that are on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, “To Him who is sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb, be the blessing, and the honor, and the glory, and the might, forever and ever!”
5:14And the four living creatures said, “So be it!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.

Chapter 6

6:1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying, as with a voice of thunder, “Come and see!”
6:2And I saw, and behold, a white horse; and he who was sitting on it had a bow, and a garland was given to him, and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
6:3And when He opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature saying, “Come and see!”
6:4And another horse went forth—fiery red; and to him who was sitting on it, it was given to take peace from the earth, that they might slay one another; and a great sword was given to him.
6:5And when He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature saying, “Come and see!” And I saw, and behold, a black horse; and he who was sitting on it had scales in his hand.
6:6And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A measure of wheat for a day’s wage, and three measures of barley for a day’s wage; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”
6:7And when He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see!”
6:8And I saw, and behold, a pale horse; and he who was sitting on it—his name was Death, and the realm of the dead followed with him. And authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, and with famine, and with death, and by the beasts of the earth.
6:9And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those slain because of the word of God, and because of the testimony that they held.
6:10And they cried with a great voice, saying, “How long, O Master, the Holy and the True, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
6:11And a white robe was given to each one; and it was said to them that they should rest yet a short time, until their fellow slaves and their brothers, who were about to be killed even as they were, should also be fulfilled.
6:12And I saw when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, a great earthquake came, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood,
6:13and the stars of Heaven fell to the earth—as a fig tree casts its unripe figs when shaken by a great wind—
6:14and the sky receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
6:15And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich, and the commanders, and the mighty, and every slave, and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.
6:16And they said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him who is sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;
6:17for the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”

Chapter 7

7:1And after these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
7:2And I saw another angel ascending from the rising of the sun, having a seal of the living God; and he cried with a great voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the land and the sea, saying,
7:3“Do not harm the land, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we have sealed the slaves of our God on their foreheads.”
7:4And I heard the number of those sealed—one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the sons of Israel:
7:5of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed;
7:6of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand were sealed;
7:7of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand were sealed;
7:8of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand were sealed; of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.
7:9After these things I saw, and behold, a great multitude that no one was able to number, out of every nation, and tribe, and people, and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palms in their hands.
7:10And they cried with a great voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God, the One sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
7:11And all the angels stood around the throne, and the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces and worshiped God,
7:12saying, “So be it! The blessing, and the glory, and the wisdom, and the thanksgiving, and the honor, and the power, and the strength, are to our God forever and ever! So be it!”
7:13And one of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are clothed in the white robes—who are they, and from where have they come?”
7:14And I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are those who come out of the great tribulation; and they washed their robes, and made their robes white in the blood of the Lamb.
7:15Because of this they are before the throne of God, and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who is sitting on the throne will make His dwelling over them.
7:16They will hunger no more, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun strike them, nor any heat,
7:17because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them, and will lead them to living springs of water; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Chapter 8

8:1And when He opened the seventh seal, there came silence in Heaven for about half an hour.
8:2And I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.
8:3And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, that he might offer it with the prayers of all the holy ones on the golden altar before the throne.
8:4And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the holy ones, ascended before God out of the hand of the angel.
8:5And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it to the earth; and there came voices, thunder, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.
8:6And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound them.
8:7And the first angel sounded the trumpet, and there came hail and fire mingled with blood, and it was cast to the earth; and a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.
8:8And the second angel sounded the trumpet, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea; and a third of the sea became blood,
8:9and a third of the creatures in the sea died, those that had life; and a third of the ships were destroyed.
8:10And the third angel sounded the trumpet, and there fell out of Heaven a great star, burning like a torch; and it fell on a third of the rivers, and on the springs of water.
8:11And the name of the star is called Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many of the men died because of the waters, because they were made bitter.
8:12And the fourth angel sounded the trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them was darkened, and the day did not shine for a third of it, and likewise the night.
8:13And I saw, and I heard one angel flying in midair, saying with a great voice, “Woe, woe, woe to those dwelling on the earth, because of the remaining trumpet blasts of the three angels who are about to sound!”

Chapter 9

9:1And the fifth angel sounded the trumpet, and I saw a star fallen from Heaven to the earth; and the key of the pit of the abyss was given to him.
9:2And he opened the pit of the abyss, and smoke ascended out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke of the pit.
9:3And out of the smoke came locusts upon the earth; and authority was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have authority.
9:4And it was said to them that they should not harm the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree, but only the men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
9:5And it was given to them not to kill them, but to torment them five months; and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.
9:6And in those days men will seek death, and they will not find it; and they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
9:7And the likenesses of the locusts were like horses prepared for battle; and on their heads was something like golden garlands, and their faces were like the faces of men.
9:8And they had hair like the hair of women, and their teeth were like those of lions.
9:9And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
9:10And they have tails like scorpions, and stings were in their tails; and their authority is to harm men five months.
9:11And they have over them a king—the angel of the abyss. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he has the name Apollyon.
9:12The first woe has passed; behold, two woes yet come after these things.
9:13And the sixth angel sounded the trumpet, and I heard a voice out of the four horns of the golden altar before God,
9:14saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.”
9:15And the four angels were released, who had been prepared for the hour, and day, and month, and year, that they might kill a third of men.
9:16And the number of the mounted troops was two hundred million; and I heard their number.
9:17And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and those sitting on them, having breastplates fiery red, deep blue, and sulfur-yellow; and the heads of the horses were like heads of lions, and out of their mouths proceed fire, and smoke, and sulfur.
9:18By these three plagues a third of men was killed: by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the sulfur proceeding out of their mouths.
9:19For the power of the horses is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads, and with them they harm.
9:20And the rest of the men, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as no longer to worship the demons and the idols—those of gold, and those of silver, and those of bronze, and those of stone, and those of wood—which are able neither to see, nor to hear, nor to walk.
9:21And they did not repent of their murders, nor of their sorcery, nor of their sexual immorality, nor of their thefts.

Chapter 10

10:1And I saw another strong angel coming down out of Heaven, clothed with a cloud; a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
10:2And he had in his hand a little scroll, opened; and he placed his right foot on the sea and his left on the land.
10:3And he cried with a great voice, as a lion roars; and when he cried, the seven thunders spoke.
10:4And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write; and I heard a voice out of Heaven saying to me, “Seal up the things that the seven thunders spoke, and do not write them.”
10:5And the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his hand to Heaven,
10:6and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created Heaven and the things in it, and the land and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there would be no more delay,
10:7but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound the trumpet, the mystery of God will also be accomplished, as He declared to His own slaves, the prophets.
10:8And the voice that I heard out of Heaven spoke with me again, saying, “Go, take the little scroll that is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land.”
10:9And I went to the angel, saying to him, “Give me the little scroll.” And he said to me, “Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”
10:10And I took the little scroll out of the hand of the angel and ate it; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey, but when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter.
10:11And he said to me, “You must prophesy again concerning many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”

Chapter 11

11:1And a reed like a rod was given to me; and the angel stood, saying, “Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those who worship in it.
11:2And leave out the court outside the temple, and do not measure it, because it was given to the nations; and they will tread down the holy city forty-two months.
11:3And I will grant My two witnesses to prophesy one thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”
11:4These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth.
11:5And if anyone desires to harm them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies; and if anyone desires to harm them, thus he must be killed.
11:6These have authority to shut Heaven, that no rain may fall in the days of their prophecy; and they have authority over the waters, to turn them to blood, and to strike the land with every plague, as often as they desire.
11:7And when they finish their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them.
11:8And their bodies will lie in the street of the great city that is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.
11:9And people from the peoples, and tribes, and tongues, and nations gaze on their dead bodies three and a half days; and they will not allow their dead bodies to be put into tombs.
11:10And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry, and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.
11:11And after the three and a half days, the Spirit of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell on those who beheld them.
11:12And they heard a great voice out of Heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they ascended to Heaven in the cloud, and their enemies beheld them.
11:13And in that hour there came a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell; and seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest became afraid and gave glory to the God of Heaven.
11:14The second woe has passed; behold, the third woe comes quickly.
11:15And the seventh angel sounded the trumpet, and there came great voices in Heaven, saying, “The kingdoms of the world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Anointed One, and He will reign forever and ever!”
11:16And the twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God,
11:17saying, “We give thanks to You, O Lord God, the Almighty, who is, and who was, and who is coming, because You have taken Your great power and have reigned.
11:18And the nations were angry, and Your anger came, and the time for the dead to be judged, and to give the reward to Your slaves—the prophets, and the holy ones, and those who fear Your Name, the small and the great—and to destroy those who destroy the earth.”
11:19And the temple of God was opened in Heaven, and the Ark of His Covenant was seen in His temple; and there came flashes of lightning, and voices, and thunder, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Chapter 12

12:1And a great sign was seen in Heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars.
12:2And being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
12:3And another sign was seen in Heaven, and behold, a great fiery-red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads.
12:4And his tail swept away a third of the stars of Heaven and cast them to the earth; and the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, that when she gave birth he might devour her child.
12:5And she gave birth to a male child, who is about to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne.
12:6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that there they might nourish her one thousand two hundred sixty days.
12:7And there came war in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,
12:8but they did not prevail, nor was their place found anymore in Heaven.
12:9And the great dragon was cast down—the ancient serpent, who is called “Devil” and “Satan,” who leads the whole world astray. He was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.
12:10And I heard a great voice saying in Heaven, “Now have come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Anointed One, because the accuser of our brothers was cast down, who accuses them before our God day and night.
12:11And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony; and they did not love their lives, even to death.
12:12Because of this, be glad, you heavens, and those who dwell in them. Woe to those who inhabit the earth and the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has a short time.”
12:13And when the dragon saw that he was cast down to the earth, he pursued the woman who gave birth to the male child.
12:14And the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, that she might fly into the wilderness, to her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, away from the face of the serpent.
12:15And the serpent cast water out of his mouth like a river after the woman, that he might cause her to be swept away by the river.
12:16And the earth helped the woman; and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed the river that the dragon cast out of his mouth.
12:17And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her offspring, those who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus.

Chapter 13

13:1And I stood on the sand of the sea; and I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and ten diadems on its horns, and on its heads names of slander.
13:2And the beast that I saw was like a leopard, and its feet like those of a bear, and its mouth like the mouth of a lion; and the dragon gave it his power, and his throne, and great authority.
13:3And I saw one of its heads as though slain to death, and its deadly wound was healed; and all the earth marveled after the beast.
13:4And they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with it?”
13:5And a mouth speaking great things and slanders was given to it; and authority was given to it to act for forty-two months.
13:6And it opened its mouth in slander against God, to slander His Name, and His dwelling place, and those who dwell in Heaven.
13:7And it was given to it to make war with the holy ones and to overcome them; and authority was given to it over every tribe, and tongue, and nation.
13:8And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
13:9If anyone has an ear, let him hear:
13:10If anyone goes into captivity, into captivity he goes; if anyone is to be killed with the sword, by the sword he must be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the holy ones.
13:11And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and it had two horns like a lamb, and it spoke like a dragon.
13:12And it exercises all the authority of the first beast before it; and it causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13:13And it does great signs, so that it even makes fire come down from Heaven to the earth before men.
13:14And it leads astray those who dwell on the earth because of the signs that were given it to do before the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast that had the wound of the sword and lived.
13:15And it was given to it to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
13:16And it causes all—the small and the great, the rich and the poor, the free and the slaves—to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,
13:17and that no one may buy or sell except the one who has the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of its name.
13:18Here is wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; and its number is six hundred sixty-six.

Chapter 14

14:1And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred forty-four thousand, having His Father’s Name written on their foreheads.
14:2And I heard a voice out of Heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of great thunder; and I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps.
14:3And they sing as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders; and no one was able to learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, who were purchased from the earth.
14:4These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were purchased from among men as a first portion to God and to the Lamb.
14:5And no deceit was found in their mouth, for they are blameless before the throne of God.
14:6And I saw another angel flying in midair, having everlasting good news to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people,
14:7saying with a great voice, “Fear God, and give Him glory, because the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made Heaven, and the earth, and the sea, and springs of waters.”
14:8And another angel followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality.”
14:9And a third angel followed them, saying with a great voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,
14:10he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, poured unmixed into the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and sulfur before the holy angels and before the Lamb.
14:11And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, those who worship the beast and its image, and whoever receives the mark of its name.
14:12Here is the endurance of the holy ones; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”
14:13And I heard a voice out of Heaven saying to me, “Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from this time!” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors—for their works follow them!”
14:14And I saw, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud One sitting like a son of man, having on His head a golden garland and in His hand a sharp sickle.
14:15And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a great voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Send forth Your sickle and reap, because the hour for You to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.”
14:16And He who sat on the cloud thrust His sickle upon the earth, and the earth was reaped.
14:17And another angel came out of the temple that is in Heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
14:18And another angel came out from the altar, having authority over the fire; and he called with a great cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Send forth your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, because her grapes are fully ripe.”
14:19And the angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
14:20And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, as high as the bridles of the horses, for about one hundred eighty miles.

Chapter 15

15:1And I saw another sign in Heaven, great and wonderful: seven angels having the seven last plagues, because in these the wrath of God was completed.
15:2And I saw something like a sea of glass mingled with fire, and those who gained the victory over the beast, and its image, and its mark, and the number of its name, standing by the sea of glass, having harps of God.
15:3And they sing the song of Moses, slave of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and wonderful are Your works, O Lord God, the Almighty; just and true are Your ways, O King of the holy ones!
15:4Who will not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your Name? For You alone are holy; for all the nations will come and worship before You, because Your righteous acts were revealed.”
15:5And after these things I saw, and behold, the sanctuary of the Dwelling Place of the Testimony was opened in Heaven.
15:6And the seven angels who had the seven plagues came out of the temple, clothed in pure, radiant linen and wrapped around their chests with golden sashes.
15:7And one of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven golden bowls, full of the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever.
15:8And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power; and no one was able to enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.

Chapter 16

16:1And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go, and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God upon the earth.”
16:2And the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth; and there came a foul and grievous sore upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image.
16:3And the second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it became blood like that of a dead man; and every living soul in the sea died.
16:4And the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and the springs of waters, and they became blood.
16:5And I heard the angel of the waters saying, “Just are You, O Lord, who is, and who was, and who will be, the Holy One, because You judged these things;
16:6because they poured out the blood of holy ones and prophets, and You gave them blood to drink, for they are worthy.”
16:7And I heard another voice from the altar saying, “Yes, Lord God, the Almighty, true and just are Your judgments.”
16:8And the fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given to him to scorch men with fire.
16:9And men were scorched with great heat, and they slandered the Name of God, who has authority over these plagues; and they did not repent, to give Him glory.
16:10And the fifth angel poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast, and its kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain.
16:11And they slandered the God of Heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they did not repent of their works.
16:12And the sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the great river Euphrates; and its water was dried up, that the way of the kings from the rising of the sun might be prepared.
16:13And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs—
16:14for they are spirits of demons, doing signs—which go forth to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them together for the battle of that great day of God the Almighty.
16:15(“Behold, I come as a thief; blessed is he who watches and keeps his garments, that he may not walk naked and they see his shame.”)
16:16And they gathered them together to the place that is called in Hebrew Armageddon.
16:17And the seventh angel poured out his bowl upon the air; and there came a great voice from the temple of Heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”
16:18And there came voices, and thunder, and flashes of lightning; and there came a great earthquake, such as had not come since men came upon the earth—so mighty an earthquake, so great!
16:19And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell; and Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of the wrath of His anger.
16:20And every island fled away, and no mountains were found.
16:21And great hail, each stone weighing about seventy-five pounds, came down out of Heaven upon men; and men slandered God because of the plague of the hail, because its plague was exceedingly great.

Chapter 17

17:1And one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and spoke with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great prostitute who sits on many waters,
17:2with whom the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality, and those who dwell on the earth were made drunk with the wine of her sexual immorality.”
17:3And he carried me away in the Spirit into a wilderness; and I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast, full of names of slander, having seven heads and ten horns.
17:4And the woman was clothed with purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold, and precious stones, and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the uncleanness of her sexual immorality.
17:5And on her forehead was a name written: “MYSTERY: BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”
17:6And I saw the woman drunk with the blood of the holy ones and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus; and when I saw her, I marveled with great wonder.
17:7And the angel said to me, “Why did you wonder? I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns.
17:8The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to ascend out of the abyss and go away to destruction; and those who dwell on the earth, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, will wonder when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
17:9Here is the mind that has wisdom: the seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits,
17:10and there are seven kings: five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a short time.
17:11And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also an eighth, and is of the seven, and goes away to destruction.
17:12And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but receive authority as kings for one hour with the beast.
17:13These are of one mind, and they will give their own power and authority to the beast.
17:14These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those with Him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”
17:15And he said to me, “The waters that you saw, where the prostitute sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
17:16And the ten horns that you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute, and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh, and will burn her with fire.
17:17For God gave it into their hearts to do His purpose, and to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.
17:18And the woman that you saw is the great city that reigns over the kings of the earth.”

Chapter 18

18:1And after these things I saw another angel coming down out of Heaven, having great authority; and the earth was illumined by his glory.
18:2And he cried mightily with a great voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! And she has become a dwelling place of demons, and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird,
18:3because all the nations have drunk of the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality, and the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth were made rich by the power of her luxury.”
18:4And I heard another voice out of Heaven, saying, “Come out of her, My people, that you may not share in her sins, and that you may not receive of her plagues,
18:5because her sins have reached up to Heaven, and God remembered her wrongs.
18:6Render to her as she also rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup that she mixed, mix for her double.
18:7As much as she glorified herself and lived in luxury, give her so much torment and sorrow, because in her heart she says, ‘I sit as queen, and I am not a widow, and I will not see sorrow.’
18:8Because of this, in one day her plagues will come: death, and sorrow, and famine; and she will be utterly burned with fire, because strong is the Lord God who judges her.
18:9And the kings of the earth who committed sexual immorality and lived in luxury with her will weep and beat their breasts over her, when they see the smoke of her burning,
18:10standing far off because of the fear of her torment, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city! Babylon, the strong city! For in one hour your judgment came.’
18:11And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, because no one buys their cargo anymore:
18:12cargo of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and every fragrant wood, and every article of ivory, and every vessel of most precious wood, and bronze, and iron, and marble,
18:13and cinnamon, and aromatic spice, and incense, and perfume, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and cattle, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and bodies and souls of men.
18:14And the ripe fruits your soul desired have gone away from you, and all things sumptuous and radiant have gone away from you; and you will never find them again.
18:15The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, will stand far off because of the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,
18:16and saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, that was clothed with fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold, and precious stones, and pearls—
18:17for in one hour so much wealth was laid waste!’ And every shipmaster, and all who travel by ship, and sailors, and as many as earn their living by the sea, stood far off,
18:18and cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What city is like the great city?’
18:19And they cast dust on their heads, and cried out, weeping and mourning, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who have ships in the sea were made rich by her costly wealth—for in one hour she was laid waste!’
18:20Be glad over her, O Heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, because God has given judgment for you against her!”
18:21And one strong angel took up a stone like a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence will Babylon, the great city, be cast down, and she will be found no more.
18:22And the sound of harpists, and musicians, and pipers, and trumpeters will never be heard in you again; and no craftsman of any craft will ever be found in you again; and the sound of a millstone will never be heard in you again.
18:23And the light of a lamp will never shine in you again; and the voice of bridegroom and bride will never be heard in you again, because your merchants were the great ones of the earth, and all the nations were led astray by your sorcery.
18:24And in her was found the blood of prophets and of holy ones, and of all those who have been slain on the earth.”

Chapter 19

19:1And after these things I heard a great voice of a great multitude in Heaven, saying, “Praise the LORD! The salvation, and the glory, and the power belong to the Lord our God,
19:2because true and just are His judgments; because He judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality, and He avenged the blood of His slaves at her hand.”
19:3And a second time they said, “Praise the LORD!” And her smoke ascends forever and ever.
19:4And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying, “So be it! Praise the LORD!”
19:5And a voice came out of the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His slaves, and those who fear Him, both the small and the great.”
19:6And I heard as the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunder, saying, “Praise the LORD! For our Lord, God the Almighty, reigns!
19:7Let us rejoice and exult, and give the glory to Him, because the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.
19:8And it was given to her that she should be clothed with fine linen, pure and radiant; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the holy ones.”
19:9And he said to me, “Write: Blessed are those who have been called to the wedding banquet of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God.”
19:10And I fell before his feet to worship him; and he said to me, “See that you do not! I am your fellow slave, and of your brothers who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”
19:11And I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse; and He who sits on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
19:12And His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems; He has a Name written that no one has known except Himself.
19:13And He is clothed with a garment dipped in blood, and His Name is called The Word of God.
19:14And the armies in Heaven were following Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and pure.
19:15And out of His mouth proceeds a sharp sword, that with it He may strike the nations; and He will rule them with a rod of iron, and He treads the winepress of the fierce wrath of God the Almighty.
19:16And He has on His garment and on His thigh the Name written: “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
19:17And I saw one angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a great voice, saying to all the birds flying in midair, “Come, and be gathered together to the great banquet of God,
19:18that you may eat flesh of kings, and flesh of commanders, and flesh of strong men, and flesh of horses and of those sitting on them, and the flesh of all—free men and slaves, both small and great.”
19:19And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war with Him who sits on the horse, and with His army.
19:20And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who did the signs before him, by which he led astray those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image. The two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with sulfur.
19:21And the rest were killed with the sword of Him who sits on the horse, which proceeds out of His mouth; and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Chapter 20

20:1And I saw an angel coming down out of Heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.
20:2And he laid hold of the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.
20:3And he cast him into the abyss, and shut him up, and put a seal on him, that he might no longer lead the nations astray until the thousand years were completed; and after these things he must be released for a short time.
20:4And I saw thrones, and those who sat on them, and judgment was given to them; and I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and who did not worship the beast nor its image, and did not receive the mark on their foreheads or on their hands; and they lived and reigned with the Anointed One a thousand years.
20:5And the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection.
20:6Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection; the second death has no authority over these, but they will be priests of God and of the Anointed One, and will reign with Him a thousand years.
20:7And when the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released out of his prison,
20:8and he will go forth to lead astray the nations that are in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—to gather them together for war, whose number is like the sand of the sea.
20:9And they ascended over the breadth of the land, and surrounded the camp of the holy ones and the beloved city; and fire came down from God out of Heaven and devoured them.
20:10And the Devil, who leads them astray, was cast into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet are; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
20:11And I saw a great white throne, and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and Heaven fled away, and no place was found for them.
20:12And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God; and books were opened, and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged out of the things written in the books, according to their works.
20:13And the sea gave up the dead in it, and Death and the realm of the dead gave up the dead in them; and they were judged, each one according to their works.
20:14And Death and the realm of the dead were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
20:15And if anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was cast into the lake of fire.

Chapter 21

21:1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea is no more.
21:2And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of Heaven, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.
21:3And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, “Behold, the Dwelling Place of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be with them as their God.
21:4And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more; nor sorrow, nor crying, nor will there be pain anymore, because the first things passed away.”
21:5And He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, because these words are faithful and true.”
21:6And He said to me, “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who thirsts I will give freely from the spring of the water of life.
21:7The one who overcomes will inherit all things, and I will be his God, and he will be My son.
21:8But the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and sexually immoral persons, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars—their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
21:9And one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”
21:10And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, holy Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God,
21:11having the glory of God; and her radiance was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.
21:12It also had a great and high wall, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on them—the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel—
21:13on the east three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on the west three gates.
21:14And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
21:15And he who spoke with me had a golden reed, that he might measure the city, and its gates, and its wall.
21:16And the city lies square, and its length is as great as its width; and he measured the city with the reed—about one thousand four hundred miles. Its length, and width, and height are equal.
21:17And he measured its wall—one hundred forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.
21:18And the construction of its wall was jasper, and the city was pure gold, like pure glass.
21:19And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every precious stone: the first foundation jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,
21:20the fifth sardonyx, the sixth sardius, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.
21:21And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was of one pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
21:22And I did not see a temple in it, for the Lord God, the Almighty, and the Lamb are its temple.
21:23And the city has no need of the sun, nor of the moon, that they may shine in it; for the glory of God illumines it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
21:24And the nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.
21:25And its gates will never be shut by day, for night will not be there.
21:26And they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.
21:27And nothing defiling, nor anyone doing abomination or falsehood, will ever enter it, but only those written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Chapter 22

22:1And he showed me a river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb,
22:2in the middle of its street. And on either side of the river was the Tree of Life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.
22:3And no curse will remain. And the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and His slaves will serve Him.
22:4And they will see His face, and His Name will be on their foreheads.
22:5And night will be no more, and they need no lamplight or sunlight, for the Lord God will give them light; and they will reign forever and ever.
22:6And he said to me, “These words are faithful and true. And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His slaves the things that must soon come to pass.
22:7Behold, I come quickly; blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”
22:8And I, John, am the one who hears and sees these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things.
22:9And he said to me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow slave with you and with your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”
22:10And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.
22:11Let the unrighteous one still do unrighteousness, and let the filthy one still be filthy; and let the righteous one still practice righteousness, and let the holy one still be sanctified.
22:12Behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to repay each one according to his work.
22:13I am the Alpha and the Omega—the Beginning and the End—the First and the Last.
22:14Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the Tree of Life and may enter the city through the gates.
22:15Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
22:16I, Jesus, sent My angel to testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star.”
22:17And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” And let him who hears say, “Come.” And let him who thirsts come. And let him who desires take the water of life freely.
22:18For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues written in this book.
22:19And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the Tree of Life, and from the holy city, and from the things written in this book.
22:20The One who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I come quickly.” So be it. Come, Lord Jesus.
22:21The grace of our Lord Jesus the Anointed One be with all the holy ones. So be it.
